dc is on the east coast (original 13 states thing)....the middle of the usa (bread basket) gets pretty dang cold (between the Appalachians and the Rockies)...the winds/weather come off the Rockies--swarms across the plains...and then hits the Appalachians...also you get warm (and moist) air coming up the Mississippi river (from Louisiana)....so you get some really nice wet cold weather....on the east coast--the nor-easter has the moist air coming up from Florida...along the coast...so you get winds and precipitation.....the west coast---well rains in Oregon and Washington (state) along the coast...inland is pretty bleh--dry and yukky (I lived in Idaho-Boise)....California gets some nice weather from the baja and some of the pacific 'hurricanes' .....

guess the only good thing is we had a pretty warm dry november for the most part--usually by now the north half of the country has had some snow and is complaining about it. .....though they say its gonna be a cold wet winter--we shall see.

When he said towards Washington, I was asking which one. Could be different for everyone. And I'm thinking that unless you are in South Dakota or above, you are probably free of a lot of snow for now.

I doubt he was speaking of washington state and there isnt much weather that really goes towards it (unless you are talking about off the pacific ocean)....but I did the whole country ---easier to do that than to do it in pieces. Might be some snow in the rockies as well---and perhaps vermont/new hampshire and maine have some as well....I havent been really watching the weather this year.

yep yesterday was hubby's pay day, and have a stack of bills just waitin' for it...

got him to put up his set of lights yesterday--but seems we might need to adjust a few of our nails/screws since they were orignally set up for strings of lights and not ropes---

Weather has just been cold here, that is it.

It was pay day today, so nice. Except then I had to give up most of it to pay for my rent... Oh well.

ugh....went grocery shopping today...is it just me or does it seem like groceries keep increasing in price on a monthly basis?

massage was nice--my neck feels a lot better and some of the stuffy-ness in my head is gone (yes, massages DO help things 'drain' in your sinuses)....though now my ears are getting stuffy too.

oy, this year is going sooo fast...I cant believe its xmas again...I have to write out my cards and wrap international gifts (gotta send them, like, yesterday)....well at least my to do list for this week only contains those 2 major items (though last weeks still has the insulation project on it as well as those silly xmas lists bleh). I think I am going to say this is the last year of those lists--if you dont know me by now (I hear a song...) then you will never know me ....oy yoi yoy....

.....just dont feel like doing them any more, its a hassle to try to find stuff I want---if I want stuff I usually just buy it (yeah, some stuff is beyond my financial situation, but if its beyond mine, then its beyond his family's too).

harry potter again this weekend--and indiana jones, plus some terminator...so we watched Indiana Potter and the order of the crystal phoenix

Ya massages are wonderful. I don't get them too often because we prefer to just cuddle. But I get them every once in a while and they are wonderful.

Christmas is coming fast. Which means so is the end of this semester. This first semester just flew by.

yeah...its coming faster than it should...got my tree up yesterday ...still have to put ornaments on it (had the lights already). got to get my gifts out--got them boxed today, will get them packed and mailed by wednesday (that's the plan right now---).....
and then started on the cards...made my list, checked addys (still need to find one---)...

oy. too much to do, not enough time.

Got all the gifts wrapped but one, so that is one task mostly done. Have to wrap my sister's last gift in several coatings of wrapping paper, a few layers of boxes and other stuff to confuse her. Got the tree set up, then realized I forgot to pull the lights out of storage, said screw it, and will leave it for someone else to do. Cards went out today, so that's another headache taken care of. Good thing to, since other stuff is picking up, and I will need my free time (when not playing GW, of course).

Sigh, the season just keeps getting pushed earlier and earlier...

I need to start buying gifts at some point lol

Went and watched my nephew perform at his kindergartens Christmas concert with my sister, brother-in-law, mom and my fiancee. Was a lot of fun, even though I had to drive 45 minutes to get there.

fixed my last project (from earlier this summer--a stuffed toy music box, the string had broken--replaced it and got the box back in the toy)....I feel like I actually finished something!

wow xmas concerts....dont miss them really. I think you have to be a parent to appreciate them fully. (or at least not a music minor).
